OUR STORY
Craic in the Granite began way back in 2013 with our first festival and was a great success.
It continued on for the next few years until it unfortunately lost momentum and ceased in 2015.
Under the guidance of Festival Director Barry Reid the festival made it's long awaited comeback in 2024. The first one in nine years and it was amazing. Despite the awful weather (thank you Irish Summers!) we had an amazing turn out and everyone agreed this Festival was for keeps.
2025 promises to bring an even better festival to the people of Aughrim and the surrounds. With amazing live music, awesome art exhibitions and wonderful workshops its a weekend of Family Fun not to be missed.
Here's to many years of Craic in the Granite!
